New song “Church” by Lady Rho, to be released February 2016. . . .
Many of you know my story. I was a singer/rapper/songwriter in the music industry and I left it all for Jesus Christ.
Fast forward, 3 years later, the Lord has given me the green light to release NEW songs that He has given me. He wants the message within these songs to get out – except this time He’s doing it, not me. And this time the music is for His glory, not mine.
One of the songs the Lord gave me is called “Church.” Almost the entire song was written from the book of Revelation, chapter 3, verses 14 -19. So, the lyrics are literally the words of Jesus Christ, not the words of Lady Rho.
The song is intended to wake up the Church. The Lord loves His precious people and that’s why He rebukes and chastens (disciplines) us. He knows what time it is, but we’re not moving like we know. We are TRULY living in the LAST DAYS and the Church is fast asleep. It’s difficult to tell the difference between a believer and an unbeliever these days. We are blending in with the world instead of being separate. There’s a serious war going on in the spirit. And it’s a WAR FOR SOULS! Where’s the sense of urgency in the Church? The majority of Christians, are comfortable in their daily lives. Especially in America, we’ve got it so easy. We don’t worry about starving, freezing to death, being beaten, imprisoned or being beheaded for our faith. We enjoy our happy little lukewarm lives, meanwhile the world is perishing. Where’s the Church? The harvest in plentiful and the laborers are few. There are many MANY lost, dead men who don’t realize they are dead in sins and in need a living Savior, and there are many of us Christians who know the Savior but aren’t telling the dead men where to find LIFE. The Lord wants us to WAKE UP and do the work of the Lord. If we call ourselves Christians, then why do we not do the work of a Christian? What’s our excuse? Why do we not spread the gospel of Jesus Christ? Where are the laborers for God’s kingdom?
Distracted by the cares of this life. Entertained to death. We need to stop following all these folks on TV and follow Jesus Christ. Matter of fact, many of us need to turn the TV off all-together. Sports, movies, music, and entertainment, is not all evil per say, but it’s distracting and it’s not edifying to the Body of Christ. Celebrity preachers are not what you think. They might come in the name of Jesus Christ and they might have the title of “pastor” or “bishop,” but that doesn’t mean they are truly called by God. Maybe they were called by God but were lured away by their lustful desires. These leaders are supposed to be pointing people to the cross. Instead of preaching Christ and Him crucified, they are writing more books, holding mega conferences, banquets and making deals with worldly rappers, actors and movie producers. Many famous people who claim to be Christian, compared to Christians in the bible, seem to be the opposite of what Jesus said His followers would be like. They’re totally fine with “playing” church instead of actually being Christian. Many everyday folks follow after money, power, and worldly success. And those same people are following after “Christian” preachers who promote worldly success. Who is looking for the One True God? Will the Church forsake the world’s goods and begin to store up treasures in Heaven? Will we continue to look and sound and act like the world? Will we come out of the world and be separate? Be holy? Will we deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Jesus Christ?
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (KJV)
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
You’re on team Jesus? Everyone on team Jesus has an important position in the Body of Christ. No position is played on the bench. You’ve relaxed long enough… time to get back in the game. No more Christians on the sidelines lukewarming the bench. If you consider yourself Christian, then you need to prepare yourself for battle, keeping on the full armor of God. The opponent – the devil – knows that his time is short. Satan knows that he’s already lost the game, but he’s determined to get as many people on the losing team as possible. He is the father of lies and he’s been on a mission to blind the minds of an entire generation of people. He doesn’t want the Lost to be found and return back to the Father. The devil is in a hardcore battle to keep people away from the truth. Keep people bound by entertainment. Keep people strung out on drugs and alcohol. Keep people chained to their computer screens, the television screens, and the cell phone screens. Keep people doped up on toxic foods, vaccines and prescription drugs. Keep people confused by false religions and half-truths. Keep souls wrapped up in the cares of life so they have no time for prayer, no time for worship, no time for bible study, no time for fellowship, no time to preach the gospel, and no time for Jesus. Keep the minds of people so warped by wickedness that they can’t even accept TRUTH when they hear it.
I pray that the song “Church” will move the hearts of men to be uncomfortable being lukewarm. I pray the word of God will perform exactly what the Lord wants it to. I pray the Holy Ghost convicts hearts and calls people out from being lukewarm. I pray that whomever hears the song’s message and recognizes themselves as being a halfway Christian, would be challenged to get off the fence. I pray from this day forward they’d be HOT and ON FIRE for the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank You Lord Jesus for not giving up on Your people.
P.S. Saints, we’ve got work to do! Legggo!

Revelation 3:14-20 (KJV)
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
